Segara Village Hotel Sanur is a 4-star beachfront hotel on Jalan Segara Ayu in northern Sanur, laid out like a traditional Balinese village, with garden bungalows spread across tropical grounds that lead straight to Sanur Beach. It is one of the most established Sanur hotels for families, couples, and travelers who want a quiet beach, a long promenade, and space to roam.
The hotel has 97 rooms and bungalows in five village areas, three outdoor pools, a kids club and playground, a spa, and a beachfront restaurant and bar. If you are comparing Bali hotels and the best hotels in Sanur, it stands out for its garden setting and direct beach access, away from the crowds of Kuta and Seminyak.
Segara Village Hotel Sanur has three room types, all air-conditioned with a private balcony or terrace, a minibar, a work desk, coffee and tea facilities, a rain shower, and complimentary mineral water. The Deluxe Room (35 m²) has a king bed and a modern look, and sits in two separate village areas. The Bungalow Room (45 m²) is the most traditional, with an open terrace or balcony over the garden. For families, the Family Bungalow (80 m²) is a two-storey unit with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a king bed and twin beds, and a bathtub, and it sleeps four.
Guests can choose between three outdoor pools, including a pool with a swim-up bar, a children’s pool, and a quiet adults’ pool, or walk to the sand with beach umbrellas and towels provided. There is a kids club, a playground, a tennis court, a library, a gift shop, and a spa with Balinese treatments. Weekly Balinese dance shows, market tours, and cooking classes are offered, and a complimentary afternoon tea is served daily. Free Wi-Fi in all areas, free parking, room service, babysitting, a shuttle service, and a 24-hour front desk are included.

Segara Village Hotel Sanur works best for families, couples, and slow travelers who want a beachfront garden hotel with several pools and easy access to Sanur’s promenade and restaurants. Guests score it 8.7 out of 10 on Booking.com, with location rated 9.4, and about 4.3 out of 5 on Tripadvisor. One honest note: a renovation of the Deluxe rooms in Village 1 and The Segara@Village 2 runs until about January 2027, some rooms are older, and guests rate value for money slightly lower than location, so ask for a room away from the work when you book.

There are two swimming pools including a children's pool, and above all the landscaping was beautiful so it was lovely for walks. It's right in front of the beach, so walking along the shore was nice, and it was close to Icon Bali which made grocery shopping convenient. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, but eating while looking out at the sea was pleasant. The staff were all very friendly.
We stayed a week at the Segara Village Hotel and can recommend it for a peaceful holiday. There are three pools and a large open air eating area servicing meals and snacks all day, delivered to your chair. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff ( there was plenty of staff on hand) and they were very friendly and helpful at all times. The three pools were just right in temperature and the grounds beautifully kept. The Hotel is around a 5 to 10 minute walk along the paved sidewalk next to the beach, from a new 'Icon Bali' shopping mall that has a supermarket and a lot of other shops and eateries/restaurants.
Gorgeous grounds. Lovely staff, will stay again. The grounds were simply divine and the pools were amazing and always very clean. We had a bungalow room which was always made up and was always made up daily amazing. The staff were always there to help with a smile
